What is "the bee's knees?"

Started in the roaring twenties, this fun little phrase simply means that something is cool, the best, the height of quality.

For us today, it hearkens an era when things were made well,

an era that set the standard of class and attention to detail.

What is it we do?

Are we bee keepers? No.

Do we harvest honey? No.

Are we a vintage store? No.

We are a branding and graphic design studio that believes today’s design should display the same timeless qualities of that bygone era.

You’ll find us in Memphis, Tennessee—the home of Elvis, rock ‘n’ roll, the blues, FedEx, and the best barbecue you’ll ever eat.

This city buzzes with an eclectic, artsy feel all its own, and we think it’s the perfect location for The Bee’s Knees Atelier.

Although Memphis serves as our home base, we feel equally at home with our clients, wherever they may be.

Bees Knees combines creative graphic design thought with solid technical printing knowledge. The result is some attractive and eye-catching print pieces we've been able to produce for Bees Knees, from simple mailers to complex folded brochures and programs. From a printer's perspective, Bees Knees is very easy to work with.

Bees Knees was first contracted to provide graphic art work for a book cover for a story of mine. The work was amazing and simply captures the essence of the storyline. This led to contracting Bees Knees to provide a logo prototype. Bees Knees ability, went again, far above what any of the staff with "Patients with Special Needs" Conference had imagined. Bees Knees will definitely be the first agency hired when additional work is needed either personally or through business channels.
